The course enables a student to make a smart entry into a variety of top-notch careers in industries like ONGC, Defence, Civil, Banking, Teaching and Research in DRDO, BARC, TIFR, IISC, IITs etc. The Department provides research facilities of a very high standards with many students pursuing M. Phil. & Ph.D. under highly dedicated faculty. Many research projects are also being carried out in the department in association with international & national agencies.
