Anveshika Bharat Yatra 2025-26

The Physics Mashal Yatra – Igniting the Spirit of Experiential Learning

The National Anveshika Network of India (NANI), under the aegis of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), is conducting a yearlong programme to foster Experiential Learning and Practical Work Promotion as part of the Viksit Bharatinitiative.

The Anveshika Bharat Yatra 2025,a physics outreach initiative, conceptualized by Padma Shri Prof. H.C. Verma, National Coordinator, NANI is a unique opportunity for schools and colleges to engage in hands-on physics demonstrations, teacher training, and interactive sessions aimed at strengthening physics education.

Vision:

An idea was explored to join our hands in a physics hands-on tour all over India where the respective Anveshika will lead in the entire region. An electronic mashal, which will symbolise continuity will be flagged off from Kashmir by Prof. H.C. Verma and an electronic Mashal will move through entire India, where every state Anveshika will organize the  hands-on sessionsin various schools, colleges, and universities.

Start of Physics Mashal:

The Physics Mashal Yatra is proposed to begin from the Northern end of Kashmir near the Line of Control in Kupwara District. The mashal will be flagged off by Padma Shri Prof. H.C. Verma and Prof. P.K. Ahluwalia (President IAPT) in the presence of Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo, and the Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara District on May 2, 2025.

Upon completion of activities by one Anveshika, the mashal will be handed over to the next Anveshika team, and this cycle will continue. After covering the entire country over approximately one year, the final poornahuti program is proposed to be held at SGM Anveshika in Kanpur, where all participants will assemble to conclude the journey.
