The Department of Philosophy was established in 1952. Over the years the department has performed well on all fronts. It is committed to develop critical reasoning on philosophical issues and positive thinking toward ethical issues. Philosophy as an optional subject in B.A. to build logical reasoning and ethical values in students. After opting this subject student will be able  to work as a teacher, editor, counsellor and also very easily clear competitive exams.
